5 Proven Curcumin/Turmeric Benefits for Pets
What can you do when your puppy gets scared? Here are four things to try:
Stay calm
Getting angry or being impatient would not do any good and could make your puppy more scared.
Provide comfort without encouraging fear
Give your pup a quick hug and say reassuring words to let her know you are there. But do not overdo it by making a big deal out of the situation. Show him there is nothing to be scared of.
Encourage familiarity
Slowly encourage her to become familiar with what is scaring her through regular exposure. Keeping her away from what is making her scared would not solve the problem. On the other hand, ensuring that each encounter is a pleasant experience can have a positive effect on your puppy.
Divert the attention
Create a diversion by playing her favorite game or activity or distract her by offering her favorite toy, blanket, or snack.
