KING CHARLES SPANIEL
A particularly outstanding characteristic distinguishes the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from King Charles Spaniel: its nose length. Both breeds are named after the kings Charles I and Charles II, who were great spaniel friends. Until today the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has lost nothing of its original charm.

The breed is a little cavalier and always benign and friendly. They match very well with other pets in the same household, are socially acceptable with dogs, and are affectionate when it comes to “their” humans. Although from time to time the hunting dog heritage makes itself noticeable and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel goes on a mouse hunt, however, he usually remains well available. The breed is easy to train, smart, and never nervous. It does not tend to bark and therefore does not give off a particularly ambitious watchdog.
