Bunny, The Talking Dog
A talking dog, you say? We know dogs are smart and they can learn how to communicate with their owners. However, Bunny, an intelligent Sheepadoodle, has proven that our furry friends can be trained to “talk” like a human and relay their messages. Bunny’s owners taught it to express its thoughts through buttons. It is fascinating to watch how this amazing dog can tell its owner what it is feeling or what it wants to do. Watch the video below to see how this amazing furry friend answers its owner’s questions.

Dog training such as this has opened our eyes and expanded our understanding of animal sentience (the ability of animals to have emotions or feelings such as happiness, excitement, fear, or sadness).
Ways dogs talk and communicate with their pet owners
Dogs communicate with their pet owners through their body language and vocalizations.
Body language
Their body language such as their facial expressions can usually tell you what they are thinking. Who can resist a dog when they give you that “puppy dog eyes“? Beware since most of the time this trick lets you quite easily give in to their qualms and requests. Aside from that, you can tell if your dog is happy if they are wagging their tails excitedly. Or if their tail is lopsided and floppy, it might be a sign of sadness or discomfort. Moreover, they might be bored if they love digging in your garden, chewing on anything they see or chasing their tails.
Vocalizations
Our tail-wagging friends can also communicate through sounds. For instance, their barks can express happiness or signal danger while a whining dog might be in some kind of pain or distress or in need of your attention. If you hear your dog howling, aside from being closely related to wolves, this may mean they are communicating with other dogs or they are simply stating their territory.
